2018 Long Beach Esthetic Show!
First off, we want to give a huge thank you to those who came out to support us this weekend! Our community is filled with talented and wonderful artists, we can't wait to see more of your work at future shows!
Pro Artist Richard Espinoza working on one of our booth neighbors from Sculptice!
The show started early on Saturday morning, and there were so many things to see! One of favorite things about Beauty Trade Shows is seeing all of the different avenues that go in to our industry! The Long Beach Esthetics Show has a focus on all things skin. From medical spas, to makeup, every inch of the trade show floor was filled!
At booth #635, the Poise Makeup Booth, we enjoyed getting to meet new faces as well as students and pros we have had the pleasure to meet in the past! Being able to catch up and see what everyone has been up to was so much fun.

Sunday, though, was our favorite day! We had the honor of having Elizabeth Fox do a presentation about the Bridal Industry while using Poise Makeup Professional. Elizabeth shared tips and tricks on the trade, and really focused on "researching your area". She shared that it is important to research the current prices for Bridal Makeup in your area, who your clientele would be, and how to network with other vendors. Elizabeth also shared that it is important to remember "Community is so much more important than competition", and that it is important to support one another in this industry.
Here you can see a wide shot of Elizabeth Fox's Bridal Makeup Demo! The crowd was so attentive!
Elizabeth sharing how to build a network, and emphasizing the importance of community vs competition.
After Elizabeth's demo, she finished her makeup application at the Poise Makeup Booth. While she was continuing to apply makeup on Devon, she answered questions for attendees of the workshop who wanted to learn more! Elizabeth took the time to answer each question, and encouraged the growing artists, proving how important community is!

Poise Makeup Professional was created with the Professional artist in mind! We want to empower artists, and have them feel confident in being able to achieve any look with our products. We want each artist to feel like they have the power to create! And we couldn't agree with Elizabeth more, that community is so important!

If you are in the Canada area, don't worry! Poise Makeup Professional will be attending IMATS Vancouver, and we have the honor of having Elizabeth joining us for this show as well! Join us to learn about Corrective Makeup, and hear more about what the makeup industry is like!
Do you have a wonderful story of how you have been supported, or helped encourage a newer artist? Let us know! We would love to hear about it!
