On June 2nd, 2018, we had the amazing honor of having Suzy Diaz facilitate our Live TV & Film Demonstration! Suzy started the workshop off by sharing her story about how she got in to the industry, valuable lessons she learned, and advice that she had for our wonderful group of attendees!

During Suzy's demo, she broke down what her Male Grooming set up looks like! She emphasized on the importance of "Less is More" for both men's grooming and HD Cameras. Suzy shared that her favorite products to use on her actors, both men and women, are our HD Creme Foundations and our HD Creme Multitasking Palette. Suzy LOVES our creme products because they were created with HD Cameras and our Pro Artists in mind!

Suzy shared that, when working with HD Cameras, they pick up every little detail. She showed the group how to enhance the eyes without making it look like your actor is wearing makeup. She showed that just a little bit of a taupe color really goes a long way!

Our attendees all had the opportunity to ask their questions about the industry! The attendees asked about what the process to joining the Local 706 Makeup Union was, products to use on set, how to do a script breakdown, and the responsibilities/roles a makeup artist can have when working on set in the TV & Film Industry.
Here you can see two of Suzy's look books through the years! These books held both Special Effects makeups and Beauty. They were amazing!
